We seem to be cooking out more this year than last. Perhaps we're having more fires because it's colder here than normal or perhaps it's because we probably won't be back here for the next few years. Last night was no exception. We had a roaring fire which we grilled vegetables and chicken on, after the fire burned down a bit of course. We are really enjoying grilling veggies over the fire. We bought a neat grilling pan and some grilling baskets on our recent trip up to Eureka and they are getting a workout. We didn't stay out too late but had a nice meal.
This morning it was very cold and blustery...we even got a measurable amount of rain early on. It stayed cool and overcast all day but I was still able to get out for a little walk and some picture taking. Even on overcast days it is still beautiful up here.

Oh, you hit the nail on the head! I can't remember to get my camera out during the chilly, foggy days yet I think it's so cool! Good job!
Yummmmmmo! Grilled veggies, one of my favorites . . . along with grilled chicken . . . we'll be there soon! I love those misty pictures,, but I hope the sun is shining today.
I can't figure out what the numbers mean after your "Ain't Life Grand?" signoff???
