Nieces come to visit

The water was really cold but the girls didn't seem to mind.
This is the old stagecoach road to Yosemite that goes through our Park.
A view north up the creek.
The creek bed was slippery and JT got a little wet.

Gary's sister, husband and three daughters up for visit on St. Patrick's Day. First, the girls all got their hair braided by Aunt Cecile while everybody else visited and played cards. Then we all went to Chuckchansi for their lunch buffet, a favorite of the girl's dad. After that, while Cecile stayed home to put some finishing touches on pegs & jokers games, the rest of us went on a long walk around the Park. We started out going down to creek, a huge favorite of the two older girls, and then proceeded on around the Park on the fire trail. It was a long walk but everybody enjoyed themselves.

About five minutes after they left to go home, Ken & Janice came by to pick us up. We were invited to their daughter's new home for a birthday celebration for Ken & Janice and an absolutely wonderful meal of corned beef and cabbage among other tasty food. After dinner it was pegs & jokers time where we ended up playing five or six games. A good time was had by all.

Ain't life grand!

Good job on the captions, Gary. Now you can choose to "center" them under the pictures, and even add color if you want . . . just to set them a bit and just to add some more color.

Those girls are growing up fast.
